이 같은 결과는 영국 음악 저작권 협회(PRS For Music)가 자국 대중 1,000명을 대상으로 실시한 최근 설문조사에 따른 것으로 무인도에서 가장 듣고 싶은 음악은 퀸의 1975년 히트곡 ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’인 것으로 나타났다.

무인도에서 함께 지내고 싶은 남성 팝스타는 비틀즈의 폴 매카트니와 롤링 스톤즈 싱어 믹 재거가 로비 윌리암스의 뒤를 이어 각각 2위와 3위를 기록했으며 랩퍼 에미넴과 록 밴드 오아시스의 리암 갤러거가 나란히 그 뒤를 이었다.

무인도에 함께 떨어지고 싶은 여성 팝스타는 걸 밴드 걸스 어라우드의 쉐릴 콜이 2위를, 영국 신예 레오나 루이스가 3위를 차지했다. 마돈나와 레이디 가가도 각각 4위와 5위에 올랐다.

그밖에 로비 윌리암스의 1997년 히트곡 ‘Angels’가 무인도에서 듣고 싶은 음악 2위를 차지했으며 퀸의 1978년 곡 ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’가 3위로 꼽혔다.
